Meet any requirement with highly wear-resistant screws.

Reiloy produces highly wear-resistant screws according to customer needs.

Armour alloys for Reiloy screws

Reiloy armour alloys are developed in our in-house materials laboratory. Continuous tough wear tests guarantee a highly effective protection.

Hard-face flight screws

The flight is the area under the most strain in a screw. A specifically applied armour coating protects it highly effectively against wear and corrosion.

The armour coating is 1.5 to 3 mm thick on average. It is applied in an automated plasma powder PTA welding process. So that the screw root and the flight flanks are protected as well, the entire screw surface is ion-nitrided.

At greater corrosion exposure the screw root and the flight flanks receive a hard chrome coating. Or an appropriate corrosion-resistant material is used to meet the requirements.

Hardened-through screws

Reiloy produces its highly wear-resistant screw out of PM-HIP alloys that it has developed itself.

The PM-HIP technology permits higher alloy contents as the conventional melt metallurgy. This gives the Reiloy screw made of PM-HIP rod steel a significantly greater resistance to wear than screws made of conventional steels.

Of course we also offer hardened-through screws made of standard materials.
